Editorial Guidelines & Review Policy

Learn about our strict quality standards and how we evaluate web scraping tools at ParseFlow.

Our Commitment to Quality (E-E-A-T)

At ParseFlow, maintaining transparency and trust is our highest priority. All content published on our platform adheres strictly to Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness).

How We Evaluate Web Scraping Tools

Every Apify actor, web scraper, or dataset mentioned on our site undergoes a rigorous review process before being recommended:

  • Hands-on Verification: We personally run the scrapers on test URLs to verify their output quality, speed, and reliability.
  • Schema Accuracy: We check if the exported data matches the documented schema correctly (e.g. valid JSON, CSV structure without broken delimiters).
  • Cost Tracking: We analyze the Compute Unit (CU) consumption to ensure the tools are cost-effective for enterprise and SMB users alike.
  • Maintenance Tracking: We monitor the last updated dates of actors. Stale actors that no longer function due to website DOM changes are quickly deprecated from our top rankings.

Our Affiliate Disclosure

ParseFlow is an independent curator and affiliate partner of Apify. When you click on links pointing to the Apify Store and sign up or run an actor, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

This does not affect our rankings. Because Apify provides a unified platform with thousands of actors built by different independent developers, our goal is simply to help you find the best acting developer’s tool for a specific target (like Google Maps or Instagram). We receive a commission simply for referring you to the Apify ecosystem itself.

Correction Policy

Web scraping is a highly dynamic industry. Websites update their core code weekly, which can break scrapers. If you notice a recommended actor is currently broken or our pricing information is outdated, please contact us. We aim to correct inaccuracies within 48 hours of verification.
